Meet our Head of School
Mr Crosby is a seasoned educator born and raised in Cleveland, OH., with youth development experience stretching nearly 20 years. Principal Crosby has served schools across the country in many roles, including English and Social Studies teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, Principal as well as Executive Director of a 501 c 3 recognized youth development organization focused on teaching students in underserved communities social emotional wellness and encouraging college enrollment.
Mr. Crosby’s priorities are developing a culture of achievement among parents and students, creating a school community focused on nurturing the whole child, and improving student performance on internal and external high stakes examinations. As a school leader, Mr. Crosby is passionate to world class results, high standards for excellence, and building meaningful relationships to positively impact the children he serves.
Over the years, Crosby's career has show he is deeply committed to using education as a means of leveling the playing field for Black and Latinx children. He aims to use education as a tool, to empower students find their voice, he also aims to use education as a vehicle to teach students to effectively use their minds to access, comprehend, evaluate, and judiciously act upon the information. Staying true to his passion for creating world class impactful learning communities through high expectations and standards. While Mr. Crosby is firm, and has high standards for all he encounters he is intentional about leading with love and considering how all decision made impact students and their academic experience. Mr. Crosby is consistently challenging and reminding all he encounters through his actions of his favorite quote from Benjamin E. Mays “Whatever you do, strive to do it so well that no man living and no man dead and no man yet to be born could do it any better.”
